Troy “Intylekt” Sheppard

is the owner and operator of Balance of Concepts Studios, and BOC Music record label.

His most current studio build has been housed at the Addison On Fourth in the International District since the building’s reopening in 2012. There, he has been providing accessible audio recording, production, engineering, practice space, mentorship/guidance, and more to over 200 clients, a dozen apprentice artists and two other Black legacy producers- Vitamin D and Kuddie Fresh.
